Fitting a Pomeranian

Measure the chest under the coat by pressing the tape gently through the fur, not over the top of it. Going by the fluffed silhouette is the single most common sizing mistake with this breed. Compare both measurements against the size chart on the individual product page, and size up if the dog falls between two.

Double coat, different rules

Pomeranians have a genuine double coat, so they need clothing less often than a chihuahua or a Yorkie and overheat more easily indoors. Reserve layers for genuinely cold walks, and prefer light shells over heavy padding.
